Slop Tower Defense Summons and Crafting Guide
Cash vs Gems pulls, craft targets, and how to spend without wrecking progression.
Summons and crafting decide how fast your Slop Tower Defense roster leaves the tutorial bracket. This guide explains Basic vs Premium costs, what each currency is for, and when to craft instead of raw pulling. Pair it with Crafting for recipe-depth and Best Units for target names.
Currencies at a glance
| Currency | Primary use |
|---|---|
| Cash | Match economy, placements, Basic Summons |
| Gems | Premium Summons and premium sinks |
| Stars | Specialist progression sinks |
| Sheckles | Wipe / event specialty wallet |
| Suns | Wipe / event specialty wallet |
| Slopbux | Named premium-adjacent currency — spend inside its shop |
Codes often inject Cash or Gems; data wipe codes may grant Sheckles, Suns, or unit freebies. Always redeem through the official box after ten wins — see Codes and How to Redeem.
Basic Summon costs
Community-confirmed Basic Summon pricing:
- 500 Cash — single pull
- 4750 Cash — x10 batch
- 20000 Cash — x50 batch
Batches improve click efficiency when you are filling a shallow roster. Singles are fine if you are a few hundred Cash short of a needed placement upgrade mid-session planning. Do not empty your match buffer just to force a pull before a hard map attempt.
Premium Summons
Premium pulls spend Gems. They are the main path toward exclusive or high-impact units showcased in creator tier videos. Because Gems arrive slower than Cash for most free players, set a target before opening the Premium banner. Good targets historically include trade/S-tier pieces such as Cockey Poseidon, Watch of Doom, Star Fruit, Upgraded Titan TV Man, Patriot TV Man, Party Cat, and Upgraded Titan Clock Man, with A-tier names like Moon Blossom and True Slap Man as strong consolation outcomes.
Crafting versus summoning
Summoning expands randomness. Crafting converts duplicates and materials into intentional upgrades. Use summons when your board lacks bodies or roles. Use crafting when you already own the fodder for a known upgrade path — especially toward Upgraded Titan lines or other recipe-gated spikes detailed on Crafting.
Early crafting mindset
- Keep attackers online; do not dismantle your only clear squad for speculative crafts.
- Bank materials for recipes that jump rarity or unlock upgraded forms.
- Spend wipe currencies (Sheckles/Suns) on the systems they were meant for instead of ignoring them in inventory.
- Recheck Updates after data wipes — recipes and compensation change.
Spending order for new accounts
- Claim Playtime Rewards, Quests, and active codes.
- Stabilize Normal clears with three-plus attackers (Getting Started).
- Dump surplus Cash into Basic x10 when roster breadth is the bottleneck.
- Hold Gems until you can aim Premium pulls at tier-list goals.
- Craft when a recipe clearly upgrades a unit you already field.
- Only then stretch into Hard, Endless, or Space Event crates.
Reading DPS showcases without tilting
Creator showcases quote flashy numbers: Exclusive Laser Toilet near 7500 DPS, Emperor Midas near 5733, King Midas near 2800 with splash and farm utility. Those figures illustrate ceilings, not starter averages. A consistent Normal clear squad beats an empty wallet chasing one showcase unit.
Trade reality
S-tier trade names move in community markets. Know approximate demand before offering your only Premium luck. This wiki does not broker trades; we only flag which names repeatedly appear as high-value so you do not undertrade. Cross-check live Discord conversations and in-game offers carefully — never share passwords.
Event summons and crates
Space and other Event playlists may add crate or banner layers on top of permanent summons. When live, read Space Event before converting every Gem into the permanent Premium banner. Event-limited crafting materials can expire in value when the playlist rotates out.
